Re: Tamiya TRF 211x
Even without having all of the original parts that is a very interesting car to own, I would have to say that was a great find. What's with the Orange and pink miss-matched rims?
Re: Tamiya TRF 211x
Im guessing those rear rims are Top force Evo? Fronts from the TRF201? Its still a blinding find though, regardless of the missing bits.

Just to let you know.. if you're still looking for parts to build something closer to an original 211X, I'm selling a lot of parts for this prototype over at TC, the sell/trade-forums.
Re: Tamiya TRF 211x
Not selling anymore, finally managed to get most of the missing parts. Will build it after I finish my 411X

Thanks.fakiee wrote:Good work getting the parts, I have a beat up body if any one wants to try and repro it? I'm still after a lot of the parts myslef but pretty much gave up.pUs wrote:Not selling anymore, finally managed to get most of the missing parts. Will build it after I finish my 411X
Will be nice to see a 411x thread - I have a few images of Ellis Staffords example.

I've already set up a 411X build thread at tamiyaclub in the "The builds" section, check it out if you want to.

Oh, and BTW.. any images of Ellis car specifically would be awesome to see if you want to share them. I've only seen a few which I scanned myself a long time ago, most of them are still floating around the web..

Great, thanks man! I will try to also upload some additional ones I scanned earlier this year, I think most are from Radio Race Car.fakiee wrote:

Re: Tamiya TRF 211x
I was just wondering if you had anyway to create a drawing or something for the chassis pieces to be reproduced???
Re: Tamiya TRF 211x
I certainly could (I actually did for the 411X), just haven't seen the need for it on the 211X. I used one new 211-chassis for my build and have another new set unused, plus a third set which is used.rctodd1624 wrote:I was just wondering if you had anyway to create a drawing or something for the chassis pieces to be reproduced???
