Joeys rough rc10t

Post by Joey48442 »

So, I picked up this exceedingly crusty white arm rc10t the other day
Image
She was completeish and ready to run, and I did driver her out in front of the house. She was slow and awful. Guy threw in a nitro rustler which I promptly put on eBay, and it's already been bid to a point I'm happy so that helps.
She's very rough without the body installed Image
I'm not sure overall what I will do with her, but probably tear her down and replace any damaged parts, and clean and relube everything else.

Joey

I did remove the body and power wash, flushed away 20 years of grime, neglect, and dog hair. Oooh boy she is rough. Image
Has a losi hydra slipper, so that's interesting Image

I've seen a lot worse than that!
It's cleaning up well.
I've got a nitro DS that looks like it was left under a pine tree for a decade or so...that's gonna be fun...
:D

I like it....

It's not nearly as bad as how my 10T started.
I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !

Also, it appears to be using the short setting on the wheelbase. Anything need to change to run the long wheelbase?

Looks pretty good to me. I don't know about sliding the front mounting locations. Mine doesn't seem to have the ability to go shorter without changing the upper braces and servo.
