Ayk Question ?-

Post by sk7 »

I have been restoring this AyK Buffalo, i have noticed this that no other Ayk ,That I have seen has this front suspension set up this way the upper mouts are set back and longer then the other buggys i have seen with this simular chassis design. Does any body know anything that could shed some light, I was wondering if this was the older version of the buggy. I have attached some pics to help describe what i'm talking about?

I think you mounted the front drive train the wrong way, I have restored a AYK Boxer, which has exactly same chassis, just a different body.

The upper links are supposed to attach in front of the monoshock, not at the rear...

also the front sway bar has is mounted to the shorter mounts in my pictures , as my longer posts are not drilled and tapped to hold the sway bar as the little ones are.
