Re: - Custom JRx2 with Tecnacraft rims and wing - updated 11
Took some slightly better daylight shots yesterday and replaced the previous ones above.
Here is the hop-up list:
- JG mini front bumper
- MIP transmission and slipper unit
- MIP CVD's
- MIP battery foam pad
- MIP blue shock cartridges
- RPM front bulkhead
- RPM shock mounts
- RPM front arms
- RPM ball cups
- Tecnacraft turnbuckles
- Tecnacraft rims
- Tecnacraft wing
- A&L gear cover
- A&L steering unit
- A&L front graphite shock tower
- A&L rear graphite shock tower
- Robinson Racing FRP side bulkheads
- CRP shock collars
- PARAGON solid antenna and mount
- Litesink motor plate
- HPI pre-bent wing wire
I would love to add RPM side and rear links, rear arm mounts, front hubs and carriers, but can't find these, or at least at a reasonable cost...
The hunt also goes on for a Lunsford trailing arm kit... (totally desperate about that one )

Looks stellar as always! I don't know if I'd dye the Novak stuff. It's an interesting, knock your eye out look that this car has the way it is. What are you plans for a shell?

Its amazing just how you amass such a range of rare aftermarket parts... this must be the 'ultimate' JRX2.... I bet this sits well alongside your Fibrelyte tub/Technacraft/MIP legend RC10

WOW, a dream build, to be sure! Get those wires run to the motor and it'll be legit!
Excellent work.
Excellent work.
I enjoy, Schumacher 1/12th, Checkpoint motors, Lazerlite motors, PB Sizzler, Pro Panther-10, Dialed Speed Controls, Paranoia spurs.

Glad I clicked on the Losi forum tonight 'cause it's a boner-fide CREAM DREAM and I just went from 6 to midnight in 3 seconds!!
Great dedication as usual!

Once upon a time 5 years later, I accidentally found a lot of Losi hop-ups while being abroad on holidays. I'm totally stocked to have found these Lunsford trailing arms. I've been looking for these for maybe 8 years or more. Like said earlier, there were probably 200 of these ever made and the old stock left at Lunsford went to the trash bin... Most definitely one of the rarest of the rare Losi options.
The lot also included an A&L gear cover, which I see for the first time, and two rear teflon coated shock bodies that are also new to me. I knew about the red, gold or even blue Losi shock bodies but had never seen these, does someone know when these were produced? I now have to find the front matching ones
I'll probably mount the Lunsford trailing arms on this build at a later stage or on another Losi build I have had on the back-burner for quite some time.
Sorry for the missing pictures at the start of this thread as my Photobucket account crashed some time ago and I had to replace all the links here and there. And as I never posted a picture of the car with a body, here it is with a Parma "Replacement Body":

Great car! I've been looking for the lunsford myself, I probably lost the last set on a Ebay to you I have a similar build going to yours but in JRXT form. I think you win for the ultimate aftermarket X2 build.

Glad your bid wasn't too high as my sniper was fully loaded this time. These are really hard to get. Looking forward to your ultimate JrxTRCveteran wrote:Great car!
