Wow! This would make life so easy for scratch builders. I was thinking about this very thing while i was hand filing parts this weekend. :x I don't imagine that thing will be cheap though.

SO how much do you put in the kickstarter?

Great ideas how they are making thing for the home people. Might hurt the big industry or it might help with people testing trying then going to bigger. either way cool stuff.

It's mighty generous of them to give you 25% off the purchase price if you donate the purchase price of the machine . . . So instead of the machine costing you $6K, it costs you over $10K. Sounds like a smart investment. :?

I'm thinking the same thing between this and 3D printing. Since I'm not in an industry that would be affected by either I think it's awesome. Like a kid in a candy store (Or me in a liquor store :lol: ) with one of those. 8)

I can only imagine the possibilities of what I could do with one of these. But the problem is, I'd probably never get around to doing any of it. :lol: :roll:

This, along with 3D printers, are very cool options for small businesses that could benefit from in-house rapid prototyping.
