TQ10 restoration

Picked up this lightly used tq10 that should cleanup nicely.

What would be period correct aftermarket turnbuckles for this car?

Hah, Mike, check out that article I pointed to in the other thread for your other question...........the author used thorp turnbuckles.

Your rear arms are upside down and on the wrong sides.

the old style lunsfords with the big nut on them were available in 1989 jugding from rcca mags, and the tq10 article was jan 90, so i think the rcps were basically lunsfords right?

I started tearing down and ordered a few parts like rear arms and front axles. Parts will be cleaned then i will start reassembly.

Looks good, and an early chassis version to boost. It will clean up nicely and I hope you don't order rere parts for it 8)

Hardware all cleaned up plus ball cups and most other parts. Will start assembling soon.

Ok i started the reassembly of the car. The parts came out very clean.

Got some more done today. Installed new rear arms, installed the front steering knuckles and castor blocks. New tires and wheels ready to be mounted. Need to clean up shocks and tranny tommorow.

Im not really digging the stock steering bell cranks on this so i will add a nip set of losi rps aluminum ones.
