A new built, never run Super Clod Buster for $60. They never even installed electronics in this thing. I've never owned a Clod or even driven one before so lucky me.
Aside from buying the 10 bearings I need and a can of paint, I'm going to use what I got and keep this a budget project.
First to go is the MSC...

Just a lil dusty from sitting for some years.
What I never understood was why does tamiya use colored plastic on chassis parts? Why did they have to do blue? Why not just keep it black. They strive for realism with their bodies then throw some blue or red uprights on it. And their lisences for model cars sponsors is always good but somehow when they re-release a RC car they gotta use their silly made up decals instead. And why the 4x4x4 on the grill? They couldn't just keep it plain since the apparently had to stop using the Chevy logo? I'm done.
Breaks out the dremel
