So does anyone know how many were built of this "limited edition" It's all complete minus the prepainted body and radio, and no I didn't pay $250 lol. just needs a light cleaning.

As cool as this truck is, I think it could be better  going to swap it over to my prototype chassis. What's cool is this this truck came from the factory with a picco engine and on the other proto chassis they have picco stickers on them. So this same motor they might have been testing with the proto chassis.

No clue how many got made, but I have seen only one other ready built kit like that and it is brand new as well. It was in the hands of the owner of Thunder Road Hobbies in Illinois, he let me have a peek about a year and half ago.

Rich would probably know, but I haven't seen him lurking around here lately.
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

so you've been thru my 'neighborhood'? Safe to say you hit up all the old hobby shops looking for stock?

I was trying to remember where I seen one like this before myself and couldn't for the life of me figure out if it was local or on a chicago trip and this answers it 8) . Wouldn't take it out of the box for me to get a picture

Todd

Missed this back in April.

My home town is Davenport IA, so been around there a lot. We have covered most of Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa. Also lots of other states in Midwest. Any time on the road I have all the hobby stores marked.
