Anybody ever seen a RC12 'mono shock' front end?

Post by blubblood »

My first car was a 12e and one of the mods I had was this front end. I'd like to find another if it's out there. Don't have a part number or actual description, but it was an Associated upgrade. It came as a bag of parts and included. Don't know if it really improved handling, but it was pretty cool.

Thx Brian. Looks like I need to find a 12i 'suspension car'.

You can find pictures and part numbers in my RC12i thread. I agree with you. The front shock suspension was pretty cool. 8)

I got my suspension as a kit after I purchased the car. It was a bag with a bunch of little parts bags and a template to drill the chassis holes. Seems it cost about 45.00 back then.
