well after being let down by rc supplier on ebay i finally got my money back and reordered the parts from wheelspin models they arrived but unfortunatly dont fit
dont know if its clear from the photo but the hole in the stub axle is too close to the face of the bearing so it doesnt line up to put the pin thro the hex adapter,i used shouldered bearings as ide read somewhere on the internet this was what to use could they be the problem ?
thanks again guys.well spotted they are rere arms probably should have mentioned that ,sounds like its the cause of my problems (they really ought to ban idiots like me from using t'internet) ordered some unflanged bearings hopefully they will sort it, if not its gonna be dremel time

whats a stock servo to you? futaba 3003, yes it's faster then that, a 3003 can't even move the tires when parked.
i had the cpe servo in my 1/8 buggy and it was slow, it was even slower in my clod. it works and it's tough but don't expect too much.

I'm building a project that's going off the beaten path and am a little stuck: the stock XX U-J's don't reach far enough to stay in the drive cups
What I need to find is a rear axle carrier that will accept the standard XX bearings and axle but...

Got my customworks parts today. But decided to not use them after all; as I'm pretty pleased with the new solution I found in the meanwhile.
Inspired by the idea of going 'slider' I went through my stash and came up with this: composed U-J with...
