Ultima wheels were a PITA to use with that stupid inner ring. I ditched those so fast since they never stayed together.

I think you are talking about the hole under the drivecup: it's to give acccess to the setscrew of the drive cup. The alu chssis of the utlima has it also.bdrmbully wrote:did you not bolt down the trackmaster tranny?

true, but it uses the drive cup design of the ultima, and trackmaster made ultima gearboxes too: I guess they thought it was a good idea to copy over

I was. and I wasn't.
so the body was made to fit the rc10, and these holes in the mounts of the trackmaster are to access the setscrews of the drive cups
