Re: Ultima Greenhorn
Nice new wheels too. Trinity right?
They are not so strong though. Especially the front ones had a tendency to crack from hole to hole.

Re: Ultima Greenhorn
You're right. My mistake. Andy's front arms with crp axles and tamiya fox or wild one wheels were a very common combo in belgium. I think ee stretched super shot tires over them.

Re: Ultima Greenhorn
So Dennis, can you tell us more about the aluminum Ultima Pro chassis in green? Is it a reanodize, or a new from pargu anodized in green or something...

Re: Ultima Greenhorn
Oh, it´s a quick sanding covered by Tamiya TS paint.
I had been planning on rebuilding this one for a while, but was held back by the scratches underneath - so I took a deep breath, painted the chassis and have been praying for solace ever since.

Re: Ultima Greenhorn
me too...only thing that keeps distracting me on that one is the 5 spoke fronts and the 6 spoke rears...I know, I know...what a dick . Really loving the green wheels though with that paint. It might be simple but it keeps from the annoying distraction of a billion things going on at once in a paint scheme.

Re: Ultima Greenhorn
Looks good. You should upgrade it to Ultima Pro specs (motor guard, stabilizer bars, ball diff, etc).

Re: Ultima Greenhorn
There´s three different Ultimas in this thread - Two Ultima II (kelron chassis) and one Ultima Pro (Blue and Orange bodied)
IMO, upgrading the Kelron Ultima´s is a waste of money (If You can talk about wasting money, like it was a sin, when dealing with this hobby )

I think he was just making a post count run anyway
