thx for the welcome! more than happy to answer any q's you have ! did some further diggin and found oc 2! (oval chassis 2) it was never finished and when i get more time i will post pic of it.. V

Somehow I've missed this thread all these years... This is awesome, as well as seeing a project reach completion (assuming there is such a thing).

Was the oval chassis FWD too? Doesn't look like there are any holes drilled in it besides those for the arm mounts.
Also one of those A-Main Optima shock towers was on eBay a little while back. Don't remember what the car name was on the header label but it wasn't "Optima".

ya the oval chassis hadnt had all the holes drilled yet.. he was contiplatin changing a few things

Hey Vandal, got a question for ya
I have a person that wants to do a tribute car but modernized a bit- I’ll show some pics of where I’m at on it soon He swears that there was a movable wing on these things. Do you remember anything along those lines? While I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to create something, I’d rather know how it was done originally
