Very sharp, I've built a lot of custom X2's. My favorite was the modern racer I built that ended up with someone else here eventually and he won't sell it back to me . Early Losi is fun to swap together a lot of different configurations. Nice build you have going.
I dug up the old thread, may be something useful in it for you or not. I did get this car on track a couple times before I got rid of it just in some practice sessions. It was pretty solid and with a little more tuning it could have been World Champion.

As I hunt for kits, motors, upgrades, etc I keep seeing a difference between what used to be desirable and what currently brings the big $$$. It seems like currently, stock is king. All original, no mods. For brushed motors, 27T stock motors seems...
RPM or Associated, those molded center links bring good money, even the black ones. But the white ones get stupid.
I have a few broken 10T bellcranks that I bought just for the center links and hardware.
In the past, I've used an X-Acto blade to ream holes in Lexan, by rotating the blade and gradually widening the hole. This works great until the hole gets to be a certain size--about 4 or 5mm or so--then it doesn't work so well.

Of course I tried rotating it with little pressure--and it wasn't biting. If it worked as it ought to, it wouldn't have required more pressure. It seems obvious that I ended up with a crappy Dubro reamer. Using a reamer isn't rocket science.
