Best battery RC-10 B6D?

Hey guys, what would you suggest as the best Lipo battery for the B6D? Does it have to be a shorty pack? I’m sure this has been asked before, but there might be newer batteries available now. Thanks in advance.

You can't really go wrong with SMC. Good product, good price, and more customer service than you'll find with the ones pictured. A lot of guys are using batteries from the smaller companies like Fantom, Motiv, etc. with great results too. That being said, the ones you posted are also solid choices, but probably wouldn't be #1 for me at the moment.

I have both you show there and Orion version, honestly cannot tell a difference between all three in my B6.

Where do I find those bullet connectors so I can solder them to my ESC?

You can get the bullets from nearly any online rc shop. I get a lot of my parts and supplies from amain.com
Shop around for the best price.
I'm assuming you don't have a local hobby shop... I don't so online is the only place for me.

Hmm what mm size do these Lipos take? Are these the right size?

It looks like they range from 2-8mm, so confusing...

Typically, they are 4mm or 5mm. You will need to check the specs on your battery.

Why would they make batteries with 4mm and 5mm, that means if I solder 4mm bullets onto my ESC I can’t use batteries that take 5mm bullets.

My batteries with 5mm bullets came with 4mm inserts to adapt them. Not sure if this is common but you might look and see

Weird question. Would a 5000mah NiMH Have the same run time as a 5000mah Lipo?

Oddly enough, I've found that they don't. I have timed my SC 10 with both batteries and found that the nimh ran about 8 minutes less. Both batteries are roughly the same age and neither are what I would consider high-end.
