i sourced this RC10 at the bay some time ago. It was in a very sorry state and has now being rebuild. Im collecting this cars now for some time (few years) but i have never driven one before (insert i wanted one as a kid, but couldnt afford bla bla...
So I've been looking to rebuild the diff in my stealth as well as replace things like the idler shaft. I went into my LHS which had the parts but the guy couldn't find the diff rings and a couple of the smaller pieces.
I was able to get the 6581...

You can also use the idler gear of a RC10GT ,part number im not sure,but it has been done.
I picked up what I thought was a CE to build a runner.Turned out it was a drilled out A stamp with Hot Tricks Steering and an Andy's bumper.
Since the bottom is so scratched I decided to strip it down bare aluminum and polish it....

I have recently rebuilt my stealth gearbox & I have a problem. No matter how much I tighten the torque control nut I can'r get drive to the wheels (it just spins) & it seems as though something in the actual gearbox is spinning.
does anybody have a parts list for what i actually need to build the tranny i have the parts list on towerhobbies and it seem's like alot of parts for that lil tranny lol and some of the stuff is discontinued like the part #6578 Associated Stealth...

Maybe some help.I can remember BITD, racers using a hand drill chucked with a dogbone to break-in new and rebuilt transmissions. Makes easier than installing and then noticing the problem, IMO.
