Rc10gt forum

Post by tuna.Rc »

What happened to online rc10gt forum?
I remember an old forum that was specifically for the gt's . I remember the background had a blue pan gt and gt2 , top views with no shells .

I did a quick search on Google , only found the RCU official thread and random posts here .

I picked up an old black pan gt roller on the cheap. The RCU thread is just too much of a hassle to skim through anymore .

Thanks

Dave shut down the site years ago. Up until recently we had one of the mods from the CR RC10GT board pop up here off and on but I think Justinspeed pretty much packed the last of his stuff away too.

I miss CR products. They are few and very far between anymore on ebay.

RCU is if you have absolutely nothing to do but kill time and feel like going from calm and collected to frustrated.

Yeah I joined a rc10gt group on Facebook . It’s a small group , feels dead . Sucks to see that forum gone .

The LHS has been running gas trucks again just for fun. I haven't had any time to get anything running but like to stop in once in awhile to hear and smell the nitro fun.

The CR GT board was pretty much lifeless the last year or so of existence also. About 5 or 6 guys on there waiting for Dave to get his electric conversion into production and just hanging around. Once in awhile a new member would join to see what was up and meander off after a few visits...

Been upping my gt parts as of late again myself and amping up to not do anything with the projects that arrive :?

The GT2 was a good attempt to get gas truck racing going again but was too short lived and to me lacked the appeal of the previous GT's. I didn't get one but nothing can compare to gas truck racing from the mid 90's to early 00's.
