Ok, so i have had my WetMag IV from new, and always presumed it was a 16Quin.... however looking at certain paperwork and vintage ads they were initially listed as a 16Quad.

Mine was opened up for the first time this week, for a rebuild, and it turns out to be a 16Quad. Quite surprised.

Does anybody know when the spec changed??

CAT SWB&XL, Meteor (x3), RC10 custom, RC10 Graphite, Goldpan, 870c (x2), Works 91, Samurai, Pro Radiant (x2), Mini Mustang&Maxima, Mid Turbo, TOP Hybrid , Coyote, Hot Trick Optima, Supercharge, Brimod, 'Rory Cull' Hotshot, SRB.

So if the vintage ads are correct, and yours is a 16x4, where is the discrepancy?

I have been looking at small high-speed servos lately to replace some of my older ones and I have a question. Why, in this era of Lipo batteries—which isn’t new, are servo manufacturers still using the 4.8v and 6.0v speed and torque standard?...

Airtronics servos are still as sharp as ever. Getting hard to find parts for them though. Airtronics 94145 is still the best 1/12 scale servo I have ever used.

Long time fan, first time poster. A great web-site for reference. Losi came out with a XXX Spec around 2000. I was able to pick one up-can't seem to find a whole lot about the car. Any value to it? Was Losi's theory about spec racing worthwhile or...

Yeah, I think spec has had more success in on road and oval than dirt through the years. I ran the bolink spec pan car on a flat asphalt oval, the A main guys were usually on the same lap or just one lap down which was not bad for a 8 second lap...
