Rc10t3 Reedy Edition

Post by Carknowledge101 »

Hi this is my first time on any forum!

I did a trade the other day for an Rc10t3 on Craigslist. I got the truck and it is in pretty good condition. The only problem is that it says Reedy special edition on the box and if you try to look it up its like it doesn't exist. Does anyone know anything about it? Is it super rare and worth selling or is it ok to race it? Please let me know what you find.

Ok thanks. Is there any difference between this truck and the Factory team kit?

factory built vs factory team is different all around. Factory Team gets you hard anodized shocks, MIP CVD's, Graphite molded chassis, and possibly other factory team parts. The edition you have is the RTR, so it has regular plastics, blue shocks, dogbones, and probably some other items I am forgetting. The list you see on the side of the box are just the upgrade options you can add- they are not part of your rig. Since AE has decided they don't want their history and historical documents easily accessibly, you are best off trying to find and compare old manuals to find the exact differences, but in the end it is a good truck to bash around with.
