Re: TAG/SG Coyote
You need a 3d printer , those hub need not have died still great work , I'd have done the same to those Allen bolt heads , looks good
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Re: TAG/SG Coyote
I have quite a few spare parts now, fortunately.... plus I am also in contact with a guy who is starting to 3D print all of the plastic Coyote parts so we were not overly concerned about chopping the used hubs up... plus we're starting to get time-critical now as race day is only a couple of weeks away!!!

Did you get to race this car? If it goes as well as it looks you must have been happy after all the work you put into it.

Re: TAG/SG Coyote
I got it finished and out on track very briefly at a vintage meeting last weekend, but it turned out to be a washout of a day. In the end, due to the persistent rain i opted to just run the Pro Radiant and even that got water into the electrics after very few laps. I will have to wait until i get another chance to run the Coyote, but it seemed pretty quick in a straight line!!

Re: TAG/SG Coyote
Looks fast just sitting there. Good to see the double wheel bearing mod. Not much worse than one gigantic wheel bearing to induce wobbles.

Re: TAG/SG Coyote
Yes mate, we had read about the dual wheel bearing mod in various mag articles and once the car was together it seemed like the right thing to address before hitting the track. I must admit it did make quite a difference to the built-in wheel play, but having done all four corners it did bug me a little adding weight to the car when it was such a lightweight beast! Only four bearings, but it still messed with my head somewhat!?!
It does look fab now it is all finished though, and those team front one-ways give it a great turn-in also. Probably my favorite build to date, topped off by those super-rare original wheels.

Hello, dinglem wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2019 6:01 pm Hi - glad you like the Coyote so far. It is a work-in-progress but we are really getting somewhere with it now.
The best pictures I have of the cars you mention came to light very recently in fact. The shell is missing but you can see from the wing it is white with Italian colours and some Coke detailing. I believe the rims to be 3 hole Polaris alloys, used with the team one-ways. I assume your Pro10 came with those?

There is also a very grainy picture of the 2nd place qualifying car of Umberto Pernice from the '87 Euro's... the car in the middle of the shot with the white wishbones.

great old Tag Coyote car.
The Italian Team Driver Marco di Marchi and Mr. Cia visit us in Untermeitingen 1987. Untermeitingen is in south from Germany and we had a great race. Marco di Marchi won this race. Attached you will find a pic from the winning Car. Sorry for the bad quality, but this pic. is from a 87 AMT Magazine. I can sent more!

Re: TAG/SG Coyote
Hi Magic, these are fantastic, THANK YOU!
I really wish there was a better picture of the motor used. I am presuming it was a Mustang but i have never been able to fully see a clear shot of these motors in the car. I can see the hand-written label on the back in one of the pictures. Mine has something similar. I also see the Mustang sticker on the wing.
I have never seen these shots before though, so again thank you.

Re: TAG/SG Coyote
Hello Martin,
I have some old AMTs from 86! Here I can show you a very rare pic from the new TAG from Michael Kleinschmidt (DEMON Germany). The Race is DM 1987 from EIS Schmiden.
The pic is from the AMT 11/1987.
