Just got myself a rere rc10 team and rere worlds, I had both back in the day as a kid racing at Bury metro RC with Tamiyas cats and the like. Well before the club is what it is now (pen paper and fire hoses on grass) it was ace !
I’ve started racing again with my two boys. Indoors 1/12 and outdoors 1/10 ep 2wd 4wd and truck. This would have been our third season and I feel we were starting to get somewhere, mixing in the B finals at Scottish nationals and edging the. That was at the end of last year. So as a replacement to racing, I've been on the hunt for a Faw relics to refurbish but eventually decided to recreate a Masami collection
.. (sensibly priced and runners where I can)so it started... I have the cat XLS rere, built and paint under way.. then the really kicked in again. Having had an extensive Tamiya collection (now sold) I wanted to fill my time. I am targeting the following. Over the next few months / years.. let me know your thoughts / if I have missed something of interest. I have been collecting and have some ready to do / already sat in the garage. Shopping list:
4wd
1) XLS re re - tick. At the paint shop.
2) 870c (create a Masami rep) - I have an old dog in the post in need of tic
3) yz10 95 (pavies year?) create a shelf queen / rep
4) mx4 97 (Masami make a running rep) I have a roller.
2wd
1) RC10 Masami green look a like (have team kit re re)
2) RC10 kinwalds (have worlds re re ) as close as I can rep ( just because he is a ledgend)
Others I have to do a quick restore and move on.
