I'm building another Stadium Blitzer and seen these. I have real 53791's on my other truck. These are aluminum and less than half the price.

I ask because I seen mention online that certain brand aluminum CVT's for Tamiya vehicles are actually too short.

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

I have these axles with removable dog bongs I meant DOG BONES. What are they for and what brand are they?

Basically I used the stock compression hub, and inside the wheels is a plastic hex. It's all held tight by nut tension just like the stock wheels.

Ok another Noob question here. :D What is the difference in universals and dogbones. I know what dog bones are since they practically come in every car/truck currently made. But what do universals look like? Are they just a first generation of CVDs?...

That's what I thought they may look like. :) I sort of thought they would look like a driveshaft universal. Thanks again for your help.

i can't remember the name of them.......... kose? something like that. i think lowerydesign sold a bunch of them a couple months ago in the bst. does anyone have a pic of them? i kinda think they're the correct ones for my masami replica.

Does anyone know if these are HPI #6207 Universals for the RC10T and RC10GT? The instruction sheet doesn’t have a part number on it.

Yes they are. They are actually a higher quality universal then the AE part.

I bought a lot that came with a new unused set of universals. I sat on them for a while as they were too good for a project truck. Then came a noseplate for $10 and a battery strap in another lot. This is when I decided to go the T2 route- parts...

I'm a big fan of the T2, probably because it was my first Stadium Truck. They looked good, were well built, tough, handled good, and were the last of the tub chassis.

Is no secret the stock drives are junk. They wear out quickly and either fall out or break completely.

There are 2 universally accepted upgrades:

CRP uprated driveshafts
Thorp dogbones

But..........I want universals and I am sure it's possible....
