Dated comments.

Post by rnoswal3434 »

Is there a way to make the most current comment come up first? Kind of a pain to try to go to the last page, of many, in some cases to see the latest comments. If there is, let me know. but I understand that if "this is the way", lol then will just deal with it.

I found a way. At the bottom of the page of posts there is a box with an arrow in it and lines large to small. Clicking on that you can have the posts show up ascending or decending by date. I just changed it and I like it a lot better now, especially on posts with over 50 or so pages. But either way is easy, it's just the way mos of the other forums I have used over the years do it.

Thanks

Apparently though it only works only with the topic you are currently looking at, not all of them, sigh. Oh well

And, after each posting, it resets back to oldest first. :?

If you check out your User Control Panel, there's a lot of settings you can customize to your preference.

Here's the steps to change the direction of posts:

User Control Panel--> Board preferences--> Edit display options--> Display post order direction--> Descending

Don't forget to submit any changes you make.

Great! I'm glad I was able to help. It's good you asked as others may like it set the same way but didn't know it was possible.
