You guys are crazy!! I thought the Mini JRX2 was cool and exciting, and then I see all the crazy stuff going on here! All the Junior/ Pro SE stuff you're doing is having me steer away from other projects and devote some savings for some of these mods. Amazing, crazy good stuff!
You gotta get a 3d printer! Most of my stuff will be available for free for people who can print them. I am sure if Associated had brought out a true mini scale RC10 you could be sure we would all be reworking parts to make every last possible version in that scale

I love 3D printing! Started with FDM and then tried resin printing. I make these 1/24 buggies with 3D printing for many parts - https://www.nrcprojects.com/
My favourite thing is people designing and making vintage mini/ micro RC, it's so cool to see what you guys are doing, and how fast you're making these parts!
It's amaizing how fast you can go from getting an idea to having items in your hand with the various forms of 3d printing. Of course I did have to buy a load of parts so I could make sure the items I was designing would be the right size lol

I'm just hoping for someone to make the equivalent of the proformanance kit. Want the stretched chassis and h arms. As much as I liked the original jrx2 my race car was a mix of so many parts but it has to have a flat chassis.
The work in this thread has been pretty awesome in it's rapidity and attention-to-detail.... I bet the goobers at Team Losi are wishing they'd a) given more people hats, and b) led with all the upgrade parts from the start.... as this is killing their future upgrades timeline! More power to you all... stick it to the man!
Osiris is the key.

Look out for Todd K. - he's a convicted serial killer!!!
Hmm so basically Jeff's shock towers, an extra set of rear shocks, a long wheel base graphite chassis which doesn't yet have a source, and the h-arm rear suspension which is on a few people's to do board.
That's not too bad, I would probably grab shocktowers from Jeff ànd wait too see where a chassis and rear suspension parts end up coming from
A 3d printed chassis isn't going to work here, some 30 degree kickup frp or graphite is going to need to be found to pin route or it will need to be made from aluminum.

Well you know, if they make it we will still buy it, but if we wait for it, it might never get made.... and that printer was looking soooo neglected

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website
That’s why I changed the name of the thread- don’t want to pollute the whole site with losi

I haven't seen a thread specifically about RC10 weights, so I started this one just for fun. I'll try to arrange the cars with their owners in order in this first post once some are submitted.
Let's see those cheese grater pans and hacked up...

1503 grams, 4 grams over ROAR legal minimum weight :)
I've been wanting to start this thread for a long time, and finally got around to scanning some of the body pics in my old brochures. Mods can make this a sticky if they want.
I've never owned anything other than a Cougar Outlaw and newer...

Where are all the Dahm's bodies..... ?
I have a nip Warrior in my stash. I may use it on an upcoming build.
I wanted to start a thread for Tamiya Egress enthusiasts. This is easily my favorite buggy of all time from Tamiya. Whoever designed this mean-looking buggy hit a homerun. It looks so fast and awesome right out of the box.
This is my all-out 2022...

I’ve not been here much lately, but thought I’d share my latest build. It’s a 2013 released kit, that I sourced some reproduction BF8/9 parts, and blue rod ends to replicate the original release. Other than these, and blue wheel nuts  , the...
This will be my last build of my X2 series and this is my personal ultimate JRX2. Special thanks goes out to Scr8p and Rick for help get the chance to install some great parts on this one. Some of the highlights:
Just picked this beauty up today.....complete and in good shape, but the chassis was clearanced on one side for some reason. Shocks and diff are smooth.
Some of the wheels and bodies do not fit, maybe XX stuff.
I plan to clean 'er up, find a fresh...

I saw that first picture of the thread and said to myself that doesn't look like my old JRx2 .
Then I saw the 5 link... yep that was it!
Awesome car.
Thanks for the trip back in time.
