Even though I prefer the look of nitro cars, I would have liked to have bought one of those kits as well. They had a better overall look than the Dynotech plate.

Progress for the day. Mostly all aluminum hardware where the parts bolt to the chassis to clean up the bottom. I never was a fan of the blue chassis with black parts. I don’t mid the blue and white. Starting to look like a truck again.

That looks much better than I thought. I was a little bit sceptical at first but looks good.

Is that a 3d printed throttle servo horn?

What are you going to do for a body as the blue pans are slightly longer?
I was old school - when old school wasn't cool !

Standard servo horn, just aged.

Had this body laying around with no real plan in sight for it. This truck will get it out of the way. I have about 6 bodies I’ve been procrastinating to send out for paint, this one can go with them.

With the milling and anodizing, the JConcepts plate is definitely nicer looking. The Dynotech V2 plate (for brushed motors) is a little better looking than the V1.

Other than the motor plate, I prefer the look of the flat chassis and transverse mounted battery (nickel batteries fit). The tub chassis and off-center shorty pack looks a little odd to me.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Besides paint my I can consider this one wrapped up. Turned out one of my clunkers had a pretty decent set of tires on it so I stole them.

Sure someone could’ve ran it with some straightening. But it was pretty haggard and I’d never put it back on a rebuild.

I really like the white parts on blue chassis and even more that the shock towers are light fiberglass.

So I’ve had these wheels for a while, NIP. I finally decided they would go perfect with this blue splash body. All is going well until I go to put the bearings in the last wheel I try to mount. Somehow it appears RPM mismatched the wheels during packaging. I’m guessing maybe Losi? I don’t have any extra bearings on hand to try. Figures though that’s my typical luck. Pretty annoying, as ugly as they are the fit the look of this truck perfect.

Great looking GT!

Not sure what bearings that wheel uses. Losi uses the same bearings as AE as far as I know.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

my guess as big as that hole is that its a traxxas rustler. Can't really tell but are the offsets the same?

It would be great to know who is hoarding all those Jconcepts kits because I still have not seen one in the wild.
