I sold off a street sport runner last year. They are a fun, under appreciated parking lot basher (with an unusual differential setup compared to other Traxxas 2wd's). Enjoy yours.

Where'd you find these? Would be very handy for the small electric driver.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 7:47 pm Also got this Wiha Micro-Bit set. I only wanted the bits themselves but this was on sale for less.

The folding steel case is nice and an extra driver handle is always useful.

Those are 4mm bits. Wiha also makes an adapter to fit them on a standard 1/4" hex driver.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

I bought one new back around 2000. I'd bring it to work with me when I was a night security guard, and drive it around the parking lot. It was really fast but hard to control with the stock crowned slicks. What a terrible choice for a tire which really hurt them. If I recall, back then there weren't too many options to fix it or much info to do it at least.

Got a Hobbywing/Dynamite 1040 esc. Due to not playing attention to the pictures, I didn't notice that it was the crawler version (drag brake). Oh well, I only paid $8 total for it.
Now I actually have two of these. I also have an Axial AE-5, which is the same thing.
Whatever, maybe I'll build a crawler.

If you do a lot of work with small electronics you should check out ifixit's driver sets. They are great little sets and covers a majority of the small oddball fasteners companies use. Also the handles feel nice.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Thu Dec 08, 2022 7:47 pm Got a Team Orion SV2, Speedworks Caliber, and a old Green Machine 1.
I actually made a offer on these about a month ago but it was declined. They never did sell and the price dropped to the same as my original offer, so I decided to get them.

Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Isn’t the drag brake adjustable ? Via programming or jumper plugs ??juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 10:21 pm Got a Hobbywing/Dynamite 1040 esc. Due to not playing attention to the pictures, I didn't notice that it was the crawler version (drag brake). Oh well, I only paid $8 total for it.

50 or 100%, with no option to disable it.MarkyDents wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 1:15 am Isn’t the drag brake adjustable ? Via programming or jumper plugs ??
Even at 50%, it is very noticeable.
I might pair it with a high timing super stock motor, they have less powerful breaking. But I have more electronics than cars, so it isn't a real issue.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I bought an Associated Factory Team carb restrictor on December 1st. It took the seller 3 days to ship, and then when it was at the last distribution point before I get it, it gets put on the wrong truck, and sent to Maine. Received it yesterday on the 9th.
I bought a Robinson Racing clutchbell on December 1st. It took the seller 5 days to ship, and it arrived yesterday.
I bought grossly overpriced Racetech servo mounts on December 1st. It took the seller 5 days to ship. They were supposed to be delivered on the 8th. USPS claims the package is undeliverable due to "insufficient address." From what I gather, that means it automatically gets returned to the sender. I message the seller, and get no response. The package shows up yesterday the 9th in the mailbox like nothing ever happened. Message the seller again to let them know, and still no response.
I won an old Dumas boat catalog on December 3rd. A couple of days later I receive a message from the seller that it carries a bum tracking number for Wisconsin. Should have gotten it by now but still hasn't shown up.
Not overly big deals but I've never had this many issues at once when buying stuff from eBay. Pretty frustrating.
If by any chance the sellers are members here, I don't apologize.

My third Losi motor which is 3 more than I ever expected to own. No model letter on the face of the can on this one. I liked that on the other 2 motors.

The slipper seems to be milled and lightened, but we’ll done.
A little clean up and it’s going to be a nice little truck.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
eBay seller had a five item "service parts" lot for Traxxas Fiero up for sale, and I offered him too little with "Make an Offer." Not only did he accept the offer, he sent extra parts!
I literally have a dollar a bag in on this deal. Good to know there are still good folk out there!

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Some MXL pulleys to complete the transmission of one of the 44B chassis in case I can't find original parts, and some materials to do attempts at pourring tires...
I buy kits to build and ru(i)n them
