Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.

My first ESC was a Futaba MC112B for my Blackfoot..So it’s a personal favorite and gave me an interest for servo mount style ESCs.

My 2nd favorite is this green Tekin Pro Tempfet.

I haven't seen your Futaba MC-109 in person before. You have one in nice condition and certainly old and collectible. I didn't know that number series went that low actually. My rarest Futaba is the following MC-110 that came with the following Edinger model I purchased in Japan. It came with 35 years of dirt and dust and was a Futaba time capsule from the 1980s. Aside from the dirt, it's nice to get things period correct all at once.

I got it with a Composite Craft RC10.

There have been a couple MC8's on ebay for a while.

410-M5 was an absolute secret weapon back in the day. T-1X because T-1X, and 410-MXc for being one the the last of the titans.

I'm probably one of few here who has never raced r/c competitively, besides a small homemade track in my parent's backyard in the early-mid '90s my brother, myself and friends made. Therefore, reverse ESC's were must-haves for us youngsters. My favorite back then was the Super Rooster, so it'll always be one of the favs.

Right now I'm on a Relay ESC tip so it's my Nosram Tomahawk , really wish I could find my first ESC a Downsway Turbo Relay but they were not around for long and the ESC was nothing but trouble with the relay constantly carboning up and needing cleaning , still I wish I could find one .

Well I have so many ESCs so it´s hard to chose what´s my favorite.
One of my all time favorites is the Tekin Mospower Controller, which was Tekin´s first ESC.
For me that´s maybe the most beautiful ESC.

My favorite oldie is the 2nd ESC I owned, a Tekin TSC 411-G2. It's got quite a bit of mileage on it but was a solid ESC. One of the first to have solder posts iirc. I'm not sure how well the regenerative braking actually worked but that was pretty cutting edge stuff for 1993. It came with used LXT I bought off a racer that was quitting back in the mid 90s I should reterminate it's connectors and see if it still works, would go well on one of my JRXs. It isn't in that bad of shape considering the hell it went through with my teenage self.

I also had a 420-G2 but never did end up using 20 cells on it and I'm not sure where it went.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

So many to choose from! I was always a novak guy when i raced, but the Tekin 410-k always intrigued me. I have never owned one, but thought its futuristic keypad was rad.

My favourite would have to be the Tekin 411P, my first ‘real’ esc that went straight into my RC10T helping me establish dominance with the neighbourhood dogs :)

Grabbed this one years ago, been sitting in a pile but perhaps it is time for me to clean it up and make an attempt to learn how to replace the wires.
