I haven't run an MiP, but I think repair parts are probably harder to find for the MiP gearbox than for the AE gearbox.
Very hard to find. Probably not the most wise purchase I could've made. I'm have no denial about that...

It's a pretty cool piece of kit. It's all about finding the niche of the hobby you like best. You're going to learn something from your MIP sp-1 purchase. It's going to be fine.
It turns out that the ham fisted chap that I got my poor old Team car off of had taken all the balls from the diff then glued the cup drives into the drive gear, making one big locked together lump. I've driven my other RC stuff with a...

They did not make a gear diff for the original stealth. Pretty much that was a time period ball diff standard. and was an upgrade on every rc car ot go to.
The stealth with the b4 slipper set up should be good for an 8.5 brushelss
I'm looking for a 7200 front Suspension Kit and 7650 Rear Suspension Kit for an RC10GT. I'm also looking for a 6200 FRONT SUSPENSION KIT and a 6350 REAR SUSPENSION KIT for an RC10. what is INCLUDED, and a parts breakdown of the part numbers. Can...
Anybody know if the mounting hole pattern are the same for the GT and Stealth trans? I'm wondering if a GT trans with an electric motor plate would be stronger for a powerful brushless motor?

My big concern was whether the chassis bolt pattern was the same. I like the 'lay down' format.
I was on tower and noticed they have a rebuild kit for the RC10GT, but not for the standard RC10. It seems you have to buy the parts separately. Will the GT kit work on the standard RC10?
Thanx!

old RC10 part number for diff rings, is still used, but the label now says b44 diff rings.
Hi all. I've been reading these forums for a while (mostly vintage kyosho & yokomo sections), but just signed up as a member today.
A few of us on another forum have been trying to id this kyosho gearbox. I thought the answer might be found here....

It's the stock Ultima gearbox to use midmounted motor.
A while ago I bought a worlds re-re and built it. I ran the gearbox on the drill for a bit to free it up.
However, it was still a bit notchy (but not as bad as others have experienced). Anyway, I finally fitted the old idler gear and case. What a...

Yeah... Of the two kits I've built so far... one spun but was rough... the other was total junk. So I pre-emptively ordered a handful of extra cases, idlers, topshafts... :-/
