Going to continue the theme? I love it!
I have full intention to do just that. Was not into it at first and bought it because dldiaz had thrown me an offer I just couldn't refuse but checking it out with the home brew wheelie bar and just the wierd factor figured in I think I can do something decent with it.

Trackmaster chassis from FTW.

Got so excited, I threw the bling trans in there within five minutes, just to find out it doesn't fit. The PO had widened the holes in the chassis by 1mm out and I had not noticed. Just need to come up with a plan now.

Is it possible to flip the bearings so the flange is on the outside? It would narrow the trans.

The bearing flange is about .9mm, so it would get it close. But although the bearings are tight in there, I wouldn't trust friction to keep them there in the long run. I am not against the idea of a threaded hole next to the bearing with a screw head to hold it in place though. I will see if flipping them leaves enough play for all to run smooth.

For the past two months, I've been in talks with a company overseas to brand some items for me. Well, first load arrived.
I guess I better get off my rear end and get to packaging and put on my salesman hat...
The birth of JK Racing (rc products)....That is not the name of the tires
I showed them that as a sample of what I was asking for, the 'official' name of the tire will be King Cobra.

A Cossie body from the UK for my Viper, a Trackmaster direct drive for my Ascot, and a couple of BRP 1:18 cars with loads of parts, because 12th scale stuff was feeling too roomy.

Took 6 weeks for an order from RcMart to arrive...got to US customs fast, then sat there for two weeks...then went back and forth from Chicago to St. Louis over and over...finally filed a claim...this was a $750 order....after the claim was filed and they found it...I got it 3 days from claim...box was destroyed!...luckily the two Sukera touring cars inside were fine...but it's still BS!
I've been digging, doing some research, tapping into the past. On my journey I've Found some very interesting early posts by a lot of currant members here in the archives. Very interesting stuff! I encourage newer members to do the same, as the old...

Nope. I'm not clicking on any links in this thread because I know one of them is going to be Farmer's pic. :P
None of them were about that picture.
But now one of them refers to it.
But seeing how often it is mentioned in this thread, it sure...
This seems to be a hugely popular thread on another forum out there, so let's see how it do here?!?
Simple, what did you do RC wise today? Pics or it didn't happen! Painted a body, rewired a ESC, mounted some wheels, finished a 3-year project...

Broke the 0.050 tool tip. I'm guessing that Associated probably doesn't sell a replacement, so I'll need to hunt for one with a 3mm shaft.

The seller even included a free gift of 4 bearings. Wow, can't wait for my tires to show up too (same as what's in the pic here).

since there is no rc4wd local distributor here in our place, they didnt ship here without approval, wasted a lot of good stuff from them (we need to order in a long process)
There's a local track I've been wanting to check out, Sparks Park. I think it's the only one on my side of town. We watched a little practice yesterday and made a point of stopping today to see some racing. This was the first race for both me and my...

In my experience, 25 heats is about average. I just moved from southern CA to the Kansas city area and noted that the tracks in CA seem to be more super cross like than here in KS. Before I got my RC10 Classic, I raced modern 2wd buggies along side...
