I think we can all agree that this should be the theme for the long weekend. John Parr knew a thing or two about making a hit. one at least... 8)

Donation made, and as the father of a 17 yo girl I find the period of time between my donation and the second the ads disappear as creepy as this song; which I liked before having said daughter... :?

I've been listening to Amadeus Electric Quartet and Asturia, which are violin, chello, and keyboard groups that play classical music, as well as doing covers of modern rock favorites. If you are so bold to check them out on YT, other artists/groups will pop up that do similar work. Some are one hit wonders, some have legs. Y'all will probably give me poo for listening to them because of the eye candy, but I've usually got them playing in a background tab while I'm working or doing other stuff on the computer, so I'm not actually watching the vids, just listening to the music.

I've also got several Halo channels that have stitched together all the various music from the Halo franchise, excellent music when you're trying to block out your surroundings to concentrate on work. This one is probably my favorite.

I have seen uglier women. :D

I hadn't heard of them, but will check out their music. Your description reminded me of Bond...Vanessa Mae...12 Girl Band, all of which I like, and, coincidentally, I too have been accused of listening to them for the eye candy

If you like Metallica, then you'll probably like these "classical" renditions.

Nothing else matters - by mozart heros

nothing else matters - Apocalyptica - This is one of those 'one hit wonders' I was talking about. This one is great, the others I tried to listen too were just noise

Funny you mention that one, I bought the CD but rarely ever played it. Which brings us full circle. Maybe I do just like violins when hot girls play them :P

Hey wait, does that mean Charlie Daniels was a hot girl? Surely not. That must be why we sometimes call a violin a "fiddle".
