Since it’s been raining for the last few days I decided to cheer my self up with a quick rebuild of my recently acquired Worlds Car today.
The diff gear ist the only part I had to replace so far.
No peroxide treatment this time because I ran out of H2O2. I might do it in the future…
Now I just need a wing, wire, buttons and a set of Pro-Line Pro86s to complete it.
And do a lot of detail fiddling of course

7 1/2" with the old school front end and trailing arms. I took out 3" total so with conventional arms it might vary just a tad
I’m kinda thinking about doing this now to an extra JRX2 I have.. it can be shortened 1.75” and still retain the 5-link. A rear H arm setup could go 3”

1.75" shorter doesn't seem comically shortened, but the 5 link setup would be cool to keep. The front connection for the 5 link could probably go a little way further in on a narrowed chassis before there was binding at the pivot balls. A little measuring and geometry, or some experimentation with the lower link removed might give an idea what location changes will still work. Or a 3D printed forward connection block that keeps the links out wide might be another option.

I have an absolutely trashed chassis that I'm now definitely going to do this with. H-arms though and Pro towers
I spent a little more time on the Bandustlerpede. Went shopping for all the mechanicals I need, and remembered all the little stuff, and then completely forgot rear susp arms. Oh well. Printed out a support for the rear shock tower so it fastens at four points as intended. Also went through and refreshed the trans and installed bearings. Body and wheels should be here this weekend.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.
Made my Hilux trans do stuff. Sounds a bit rough because the mic is close, the spur gear is printed and not exact, and it has an 11t pinion instead of 10t (non-adjustable) because well, that is all I have and the correct gear is hard to find. In the VERY limited time this is going to be run while in my possession, it is just fine. The next guy can work all that out if they feel the need.

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas Factory Works website

Big jumps and take some pictures of cars in action :D Looks amazing, I'd love a garden!
Thanks to Hoopty for the design, and Mrlexan for the production. They look great. And Thanks again Jay for the body and wing to put them on, can't wait to get 'em dirty. :D

The seller even included a free gift of 4 bearings. Wow, can't wait for my tires to show up too (same as what's in the pic here).
Got a bunch of stuff now, including the RC Channel rear metal kit, SRB alloy chassis and nose. Just need the RC4wd...

since there is no rc4wd local distributor here in our place, they didnt ship here without approval, wasted a lot of good stuff from them (we need to order in a long process)
Here is what I have been working on most of the day, a Losi SE. I still need and if anyone has, I would appreciate the opportunity to purchase/trade: Yellow dish front rims, (2) Hardened Rear Shock Body's (1.2s I think), the pink antenna clip, and a...

Thanks Cedric, I am going to wait to see if I can find a NIB/NIP chassis.
Went to my neighbour town today to the only local hobby shop (20 min drive), just to get some UM-parts for my Hot Trick Ultima.
I've been browsing his old stock many times before, but for some reason I didn't buy anything except some Lazer, Triumph...

No, the Hot Trick's is from various sources. Mostly ebay. Alot came from Prince Steve here on the forum.
Still looking for some parts though. I wont stop until it's completed!
