That's exactly how you can make it right: that's what the breaders of our dogs do...
And I can definitely understand this is making you feel sick when you get affected by the behavior of some profiteers...

Re: The dog thread
On a bit of a happier note, I’m back in the game.
My last dog was our childhood family dog, an Akita named Jasmine. She was so wonderful. I’ve always loved large breeds and now that it was time to choose a companion for my young family we were lucky enough to find this beautiful lil girl we named Presley. We have had her for a month now and she’s 3 months. She’s doing fantastic with training thankfully.

Beautiful pup!
We have a new family member joining us soon as well. We work with the local boxer rescue and they took in a female that just gave birth to pups last month and we have decided to adopt one. The dad is unknown, so we have no idea what the breed mix is. Might have to 23 and me him lol.

Re: The dog thread
Our new pup. He's a rescue, or rather mom is- the pups were born after mom was found. Mom is an all white boxer and we have no idea what breed pops was. I wanted to do a DNA test but it sounds like they are often inaccurate.

Re: The dog thread
And a happy 7th birthday to our boy Louie.....
Considering it's two and a half weeks past when he was told he only had two to four weeks to live (lymphoma), we're really happy he's still kicking, and hope there will be many more birthdays (and treats!) to come.Osiris is the key.

Re: The dog thread
Has anyone done the doggie DNA testing? We really want to know what the daddy was but it seems like people either rant or rave about the results being accurate.
Wife has been told he looks like he has some Dane in him so we are excited to see what he really is.
