No manufacturer or brand markings anywhere, Aristo Craft Hitec servo hs-300 and an AM receiver hp-2rnb.

Tires have "Off-Roader" on them, Mabuchi 540-HS motor. Just not familiar with this design, I am thinking it is Futaba, but no idea what year or model.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Anyone recognize this aluminum end bell? I feel like it should be for an Atlas motor but really have no idea.

Picked up a Tamiya Blackfoot roller and it has these aluminum shocks on the front. Anybody seen them before?

Looks like they came as standard on the original release frog but have been changed slightly on the re releases, different springs and black top eyelet

Btw your Blackfoot has a frog chassis, it’s life may very well have started out as a buggy :D

The new shocks have a similar look but are a complete different design.

Some people don't like the re-re Frog shocks. I think that the springs are the biggest problem. But you can use RC10 front black springs with the included plastics and they are okay. No shock will make an ORV great.

yep. I did get a couple red chassis pieces with it also. I know they changed the gearing from the frog to the blackfoot due to tire size so I plan to start counting teeth as soon as I can find an original blackfoot manual.

They are easy to identify. Blackfoots used a one piece counter gear, while Frogs had a two piece. The Blackfoot should also have a motor adapter plate and long 10T pinion gear.

Frogs had three gear ratios available. The one that uses the 52T gear is actually compatible with the Blackfoot adapter and pinion.
