Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
My phone has been set up the same way for years (and outdated in a couple of regards), but it wasn't until today that I realized that the calendar app icon actually shows today's date. And I click on this app every day to see what BS meetings I need to pretend to care about, but literally never paid attention to the day on the icon, and just figured it was some random [constant] number. For some reason this morning, it stuck out to me as just being a 1, and then the gears kicked in, and I realized it was the 1st. That number has probably changed 365 days a years for the 3+ years I have had this phone, and I never noticed.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Samsung phones have been that way for a long time. I know my old S8 (2017) does it, because I still use it for a few things (mainly my borescope).

The clock/timer app also has the little hands on it set to the correct time. I noticed that a few years ago and was mildly amused by it. It doesn't take much to make my day.morrisey0 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 12:18 am My phone has been set up the same way for years (and outdated in a couple of regards), but it wasn't until today that I realized that the calendar app icon actually shows today's date. Holy s**t! Learn something new every day. I had no idea. I just mainly use my phone to communicate with my wife and refresh RC10Talk all day hoping there is something new and awesome.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote: ↑Sat Sep 02, 2023 1:36 pmThe clock/timer app also has the little hands on it set to the correct time. Headed back home, went through Roswell and also hit Route 66 for a few miles just to say I did it.

Not as good as a porta-potty at the end of the rainbow.
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.
