I only see one decal that is different. The re-re has a yellow Finespec in place of the original yellow Pro Gear.
And I did check the steering rods. The longer one on the re-re is ~5mm shorter than the original. It is borderline too short. Some longer 4.8-5mm ball cups at the servo saver would solve the problem and not be noticeable. The open type included in the kit are kinda sloppy anyway.

Man, you are so right!
I only discovered the SB when juicedcoupe posted his resto project a few years ago and I've been a fan ever since.
Tamiya doesn't always get it right but they certainly got this one right.
Right!

Right!

Too bad Tamiya never made racing versions... that would've been epic.

Late to the party, but just want to put my thumbs up for the blitzer falcon.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Thu Sep 14, 2023 12:25 pm Here are mine.

The buggy is mostly built from Blitzer Beetle parts.
The FXT isn't technically a Blitzer but they share some suspension and driveline parts. All of the arms, carriers, and caster blocks on that one are new re-re Blitzer parts.
I did a very custom falcon a few years back but it sadly can’t handle ongoing use. Going bearhawk is tempting but I honestly worry for the sore point remains; the sodding ABS tamiya insists on using
