Wasn't interested at first, but decided I'm gonna call the owner of the local HobbyTown in the morning to request one. Screw it, I'm sold.

Wonder if the signed gold pans take a hit to their value now that they're no longer the last four RC10 pans...

I wouldn't think so because the last 4 gold pans will still be the last 4 gold pans.

Almost want to tint them some crazy color like the old translucent electronics cases.

Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Since the material is translucent you may be able to use RIT dye to get the effect.

True... though their listing did say last of the "2013 chassis' " and they're hinting at "more to come" in 2024... not arguing mind you, more like wondering out loud.

I hope some cool stuff comes out of Area 51 next year. You know...... maybe a kit that you can actually race and buy replacement parts for. I'll save my money for that.

There is finally a kit where I can do box art paint on my own. I am so there.

Truth, I have been lurking on this forum for years and just in awe at how well people can paint the bodies. I have totally given up as I just don't and won't have the talent to do it.

I put in my pre-order with Michael's RC Hobbies. They require upfront payment but have free shipping and no tax for out of state buyers.
Frankensteined RC10T3 / Franky Jr RC10GT-e (x2) / A+ stamp / Toy Story RC / Graphite replica / B1.5 BFG 5LTi / Clonewald / Hyper Hornet

Dudes! Hey I haven't logged in for a while.... sold my shelfers and gear. I know I suck, but went back to my full scale cars.

Anyway, I saw this on a picture thread from SEMA and the full scale rc10 they had and I knew I had to come here to get the scoop on this clear re-re kit. I placed myself on the waitlist for one too.

Good to see you all, familiar names and message board handles. I read the sad news in a separate thread about shodog passing, certainly made me pause and reflect on all the stand up people on this forum that I've missed.

Was looking more closely at the pics, looks like both the front and rear tires sidewalls read Team Associated this time 8)
That’s really great to see. Hopefully purchasing some extra sets won’t be an issue. Perfect for og cars :D
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out 8)

Haven't posted in awhile. I knew there would be a thread in this kit. I pre ordered at my lhs so I hope I get on if these. Like some others I passed on the re-re kits so I'm not making the same mistake.

AE stated they have no plans to limit the numbers in these so you shouldn't have any problem getting one
