They're celebrating 40 years, so some kind of short arm car was almost a given. What comes next is the real question.

I happened upon that video yesterday. "Dope", "rad" - after the fourth "dude", I mashed the mute button.

Anyway, curious if the stamped parts are from new tooling. Was the cutoff lip around the top of the re-re's tub that pronounced? Maybe it's the silver color but it looks slightly different.

Is the battery cup now centered?

The cup has been centered since the late B stamps. It was also moved forward for the classic.

I was amazed at the amazement of all the parts that were clear after having been billed as the Classic Clear edition.

I gave up on Star Wars in '97 after the re-release of A New Hope. Dude behind me was just, "oh that's new....that's new......that's new.....oh that wasn't in the old one...."

But it IS pretty cool that AE is doing this. I just wish I was into the RC10 more than I am. It would be even cooler.
Hope you're doin' something fun.

I really hope its not a clear version of the world's car. One clear car kit is enough. Another past driver version would be cool, halsey, even a cliff lett version with fluoro red chassis and nose plate would be cool! He is now the current president of AE after all, but yeah, I know I'm just dreaming........

Well he was wrong I guess, because in his pic he has aluminum shock caps. I shouldn't have trusted him lol

Hope you gave them the correct address..... they're usually not great at shipping to Australia.

Was curious what the new kit looked like. I set the playback speed to 1.75x and watched this one. Interesting comparison.

Box opening at 12:20 or so.

The new Cabbage Patch Kids, or Elmo.

To make sure I'm understanding this correctly, this model RC10 CC is not for actual driving according to the manufacturer? You can but you shouldn't?

Correct they are not meant to be run. Curtis said they are molded in polycarbonate not acrylic. Not as strong as nylon but not crazy weak either. It's more about the fact they are not selling replacement parts for them in clear

That's ridiculous! How do you think these auction winners will feel when, in a few months, the frenzy ends, demand for the CC fades, AE's warehouse is full so they have them heavily discounted.
Maybe AE will offer a free CC with the purchase of a B6 Team Kit.

I want to see what comes next.
