The ad from 1989 featured Mcallisters MX-1 Outlaw Stocker, a 1/10 scale on-road race car released in 1988. Built on a standard width fiberglass pan style chassis the Outlaw featured a coilover kingpin front suspension mounted to an aluminum tube axle with adjustable camber. Steering was handled via a centrally located servo with Kimbrough style servo saver and threaded steering rods with ballcups. The aluminum motor pod supported the direct drive ball differential solid axle and was attached to the chassis by a t-plate and monoshock arrangement. Nylon wheels, foam tires, oilite bushings and a clear lexan body rounded out the unassembled kit, less electronics. A full bearing kit with lighter motor pod was also available:
