TLU-01 Lighting Setup & Power Adapter

Post by sundevil67 »

Anyone know which connector I need to have this lighting kit powered by my receiver (and where to get one)? I think I need a female molex to Futaba female connector. I need to have it on the 3rd channel of my radio because it is just impossible to reach the power switch under the body & all of the adapters & wiring makes it too hard to get the body to sit flush.

Thank you!

I used the TLU-01 on my M-06 VW Bus kit.

I also used the 3rd channel with an on/off switch for my Rx, to be able to turn the LED's off and on with the Tx.

I too found having to try and hook that all up to the 3rd channel on the Rx a hassle, so I used this magnetic pogo pin adapter, to automatically connect the TLU-01 to the switch/Rx.

You might need to do a custom job too, and remove that molex if it takes up too much room.
