Bolink "Super" Digger

Post by drbelleville »

I remember the invader cars with the Ind. Front suspension, does anyone recall the super digger with the rear suspension (ind)? I seen pics but cant find anymore. I have come across a bag of Bolink parts # BL-5119 (rear swing arms for super digger) Anyone have pics? Thanks

I have one that is almost brand new. Tell me how to post pics and I will. I think it is one of the coolest looking cars of all time even though it really was a flop of a car. (the rear end plates wore out after about 10 runs, and the nylon axle holders warped like crazy) There was one at my local dirt oval track around 1988 that had all od the parts machined out of aluminum and it was sweet.

Thats awesome, do you still have the instructions? I know it was a trial towards offroad, but like you said its still neat.

Super duper old thread bump!

Am I looking at the rear pod for a Super Digger? There really seems to be zero pics of one through the Google machine. If it is, anyone have a pic of the front, or the whole thing?

I would say that's Invader O/R. The super digger would be the same for the most part but would attach to the chassis not to a "t plate" adapter like that. They also made a kit without shocks iirc, and it used springs on those oval holes instead

That also has the earlier spring coupler, later they went to a really short dogbone between two cups

Is that a flexible T plate AND swing arm suspension?

the T plate is thick, twice the thickness of a real T plate. Used just as an adapter plate as they reused the chassis set. But oh yeah- there is flex haha.
