While those three are the most common, they get larger. We have lots of 3/4" and 1" drive stuff at work. Lots of guys at work have 3/4" drive tools for working on tractors and equipment.

There is also the 3/16", 1/4", and 3/8" hex bits and drivers.

I think the question was whether other countries have different ratchet drive sizes that are mm based. I would think it would be the mm equivalent of the fractional inch sizes, to keep production costs minimized.

A quick Google search said that ratchet drive sizes are the same everywhere. Nobody has a good reason to change.

It also pointed out that there are multiple things all around the world that use some type of Imperial sizing and that most people just don't realize it.

You can say that about all social media platforms, they seem to really let the dregs of humanity shine in all it's knuckle dragging trailer trash glory.

I got a lot done on my workshop project today. Inside got painted, and lights got hung. One part of the project that ended up happening out of necessity, was replacing the exterior doors. They knew their time was up, and as soon as I started into this project, they literally started falling apart, even to the point where I couldn't shut them. But, 60" wide, double inswing doors, with one side bolted, aren't a big box store off the shelf item, and I am way too cheap to order custom. So, I picked up two 30" pre-hung doors, and made them work. :D Well worth doing! They feel so much better, and the r-value will help with the ac and heating.

For my workshop, I found a crazy stupid deal on some fastener bins, so decided to make the base of my main worktop a bin holder. Plenty of storage, and this is only 12 of the 20 bins I have.

Something I've been curious about...

Been retouching/posting ad scans (180 or so thus far, with some really cool ones coming!) but I don't post the extensive restoration work that goes into each ad to repair damage, reverse aging, correct color, align, edge, etc. like it's a build thread, though that would be funny... I'd actually like to know everyone's opinions on the info I've been posting along with the ads.

Would you prefer if it were just the ads, like an online gallery... or do you prefer them with the info, like an encyclopedic resource?

The posts aren't just for me, they're for everyone... thoughts?

I think the posts are excellent, additional info and all. Where do you get it all from?

I may not comment on all of them but I enjoy the posts. Before and afters would be cool but maybe put them in a seperate Dangeruss photo restoration type thread even though it's kind of a double up?
