Yeah it's an RC150. Easy tell is the brake setup.

Thanks Phin! From starting to do research into it, it is popping up that these are very rare, but I also know that term gets thrown around too much. Are there a lot less of these out there than the other variants of the 1:8 AE nitro racers?

I usually really want nothing to do with nitro cars in general, but an early associated car has always been on my list.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

The RC150 came out c.1981 and seemed to be Associated clearing out old stock of RC200 parts...which is probably why there wasn't a lot of them sold. The RC150 is an RC200 with a modified motor plate and axle blocks so it can use RC300 brake parts (flipped inboard).

What modification are you seeing? Just the different center link?

Might have been an optical illusion, it looked like on the input side there was some modifications to the input arm
