Hello Everyone,
I am in process of getting an old Mugen Mercury running again. The car has had very little work - if any at all.
I ran one of these back in the early 90’s and it was the quickest car that I ever had. The only I ran in the 90’s was fitted with a Kyosho Le Mans 240 ST motor and it really cranked.
After a few years the car was pretty much burnt out and RS - there was only so much I could do to keep it running and fabricating which bones from PVC and improvising repairs the old car finally couldn’t be fixed.
The Mugen I had in the 90’s had an aluminum undercarriage/skid pan. The newer vehicle does not have the skid pan.
I have since acquired a new Kyosho 240 ST Le Mans motor and a Futaba electronic speed controller which is is also in the mail.
We are planning a final race meet to be held for the decommission of the plant in Sydney, Australia and which should be held just before Christmas.
I would love to get this car running again and to run it at the race meet.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
