Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
They are fairly sought-after if you wanted to sell on eBay or save for an appropriate build. I wouldn't waste em on a runner. I'd bet you would have no problem finding someone to trade you a set of universals or CV'S for em
Actually after searching, the red ends make it for a AYK application. The white ends are for rc10. Makes them maybe a little more valuable to others and less to you

I have the red / orange ended bones in my PB Mini Mustang.... and that's a runner. Almost lost one last year at the Vintage Bash.... luckily, was found on the track and handed in.GoMachV wrote: ↑Mon Mar 03, 2025 7:32 pm They are fairly sought-after if you wanted to sell on eBay or save for an appropriate build. I've been keeping my eye out for an AYK Buffalo or Bobcat, just because the suspension is cool. Maybe they would work for one of those. Or I might let them go to someone in exchange for an RC10TALK donation.GoMachV wrote: ↑Mon Mar 03, 2025 7:32 pm They are fairly sought-after if you wanted to sell on eBay or save for an appropriate build. Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Sometimes to get what I need I end up with more than I wanted. This Ultima is probably a keeper for a JJ-ish project, but it has some things I don't recognize. Instead of the rear hex, it has some sort of adapters with modified RC10 rear wheels. The front has larger 5mm axles with Tamiya wheels. I don't know enough about Kyosho to know if they make these steering arms and axles or where else they are from. Everything on this seems like it was done back in the day (everything was Futaba G plug), so I'm ruling out modern mods. Any thoughts on the front and rear axles stuff?

The front axles were made by several companies, including A&L. I still sell those today.
The rear adapters look like Hot trick

What are these drive shafts? The guy I got them from said they were rc10 mip ones but they're definitely not that. They look like losi jrx parts of some sort but I could be wrong.

Yep, I know this is a 540 motor.... but other than that, I have no clue. Anybody know more than that? Turns? Model designed for?
Motor is a Flying Point FP-2100B 540 size. That's all I have, other than it looks like a black silver can...

That's the consensus Jeff Malar and I came to, and he's my usual Methuselah go-to guy when it comes to weird brand stuff....Phin wrote: ↑Mon Apr 21, 2025 4:17 am Don't know for sure, but it might be for FP's Onro T10. http://pro10.fixpunkt.net/1989%20FP%20Onro%20T10/

Who made this mid conversion kit?
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.
