These two are pretty slow and pathetic. At least one is metal gear.Elkcycles wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 9:21 pmAgreed. As an added bonus, they likely have more torque and speed than an anemic Perfex servo as well.Incredible_Serious wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 8:11 pmNice!juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Wed Apr 30, 2025 7:57 pm Got a couple white case Ace servos. They aren't particularly strong or fast but damn that looks sweet.
They look similar to the white Kyosho Perfex servos.... except they haven't faded over time!
So what did you get in the post today ???

Good chance my bedroom slippers have more torque and speed than Perfex servos..... if only they were white *sigh*...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Finally got into the office after eye surgery, and picked up my box-o-motors..... 15 Flying Point bagged black silver can motors, all new and all very basic. Not even "Mabuchi" marked....
I was hoping these might be unbranded back-door Chinese Sport Tuned motors, but can't really tell anything from the outside. Will put one in a car over the weekend, and see if there's any performance. Might send one to a friend with a motor analyser, and get them to do a comparison with a Mabuchi silver can 540.

Hasn’t arrived yet but scored this Edinger from ebay for $240 total. Includes 7ribbed front tires, kyosho mega motor (14x2 version I suspect), vintage Novak esc, plus the box in great condition, among other goodies. Condition of the car remains to be seen since seller was selling it for parts not working but did not know what was wrong with it. He didn’t mention any specifics in the listing so I don’t think he knew much. I’ll post update once I get it.

That looks to be a nice score.
It doesn't appear to have had a hard life.

Yes treadwear is not bad, tires still have pins on them. I don’t see shock towers or A arms broken or anything. Only needs a good dusting and check transmission/shocks.

Zed, you can order directly from their website. They ship to the US. Shipping times aren't too bad but its normal to take a little longer. Warning though, they have a lots of cool stuff so self control is advised!!!

We were trying but the sales were really slow and unpredictable. When the big Indiana race happened at Hoosier RC I sent my stock to them, and I think they are now the place to go for JC parts in the USA. Worth reaching out for sure.

This is more like: What's not showing up in the post" today.
The Pro4 SC10 turned out to be a scam. Fortunately ebay refunded my purchase price and the seller has left the chat! I guess I will get back to rebuilding the belt driven SC10 4X4's

Very excited! I'm really glad I didn't go after the used, cracked up one that had been haunting me for months. Woohoo, more Factory Works goodness!
