Looks like it was running great until the rocket went off. :lol: :lol: FWIW, I've never said that I hate the clear coating... :lol:

I know! I actually dig it..it stunk at 1st but I left it in garage all day..it doesn't smell now..back in the house..if u want to call it that..Thumbs can explain

After that, I'd name it the 'Hot Lunch.' :o

Back in 2003 I bought the Novak SS5800 brushless motor setup, and built a speedrun Lunch Box. I lowered it, used 2.2 onroad tires, and built a wheelie bar out of Tamiya semi parts and airplane wheels. I used a Garmin eTrex to measure the speed. I don't remember if I changed the pinion but I only got it up to like 35 or something. It was short lived as I couldn't control it but do have some pictures on an external drive somewhere.

Should now be named: Lunch BOMB box. Would you guys consider a funtional wheelie bar to help keep the front down or is it all about getting that land speed record in its stock form? Nonetheless, awesome to see it rock'n!

Next up will a 2 stage setup...so another one will fire off .5 seconds before that 1st one shuts off...gonna turn the comm on motor, and put bearings in truck(still has bushings)....goal is 48mph
