It was a great pleasure to get your feedback, as well as the one from Manuel, Eric and Sebastien on the sunday... Everyone likes the car, apparently, and while I was quite confident about the handling, I was really surprised how reliable the PETG diff on the Leader (312) was... One hour and 30 minutes of continuous run was far above my expectations... Very happy you liked it.TravelinTravis wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 7:18 am Being at this vintage meet-up/event I can vouch/validate......This car and the work Mark aka SilverTriple Designs has done is....just, Amazing! After all these years I was able to find out I can still, kinda, drive R/C cars, eyes and reflexes a little slower than when I was 14-18yrs. old....but I'm certainly no engineer (but 35yrs. in Quality Assurance retired) and all this 3D design stuff is beyond me and I never really paid it much mind. But this car blew me away....the handling was excellent, on par with the Kyosho Fantom EP (re-re)(the owner of that car also let me drive it....which also handled excellent right out of the box by the way). But with this Vaillante, I think I could have kept up with and fairly raced or maybe even have beaten the Fantom. I just didn't want to push a one off originally designed car, that's not mine, so hard....reason why I didn't push her down lower in the corners. Thank's Mark/SilverTriple Designs for the opportunity to drive her....I was very nervous about crashing, but in the end, this car made it easy to drive! Bravo!! 5-stars!!!!!
