Thanks. I haven't weighed either, but just going off feel, I would say the RPM is lighter.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 1:21 pm Looks awesome. How do these compare weight-wise to a regular buggy? I would kinda guess lighter but it's kinda hard to imagine since I've only had experience with much smaller amounts of RPM material. Just curious.

Re: RC10 RPM Ultramold
I mounted these vintage aluminum wheels I've had. I forget who made them. T&A? I mounted TQ-20 tires in the rear. I decided to try these rare YokomoTF-250 front tires. They are half ribbed, but unlike the Proline Pro-105 tires, they are narrower and lower profile. I much prefer this look.
I found the Andy's Pro Arrow body that I had in mind for this build. The front will need a bit of cutting to fit. I think it's a good match to the car.

Re: RC10 RPM Ultramold
Thanks. I'm still going back and forth between the aluminum wheels or the HPI chrome wheels. I also have a set of white HPI wheels which would probably look good as well.
Currently working up the nerve to cut the body and fit it.

Beautiful build, and yeah cutting the body is my second least favorite thing right behind painting the body
I will often sacrifice a clear or used body to get the cut line then set the new body under it and trace

Looks awesome. If you have time, one final pic with the body on the car would be satisfying to see.
Edit: Nevermind. Now, I see what you're saying. I jumped the gun!

Re: RC10 RPM Ultramold
Great idea MachV! Too bad I don't have any more vintage Andy's Pro Arrow bodies laying around as scrap.
Yes Thumb, that is what I'm working towards. Thanks!

Re: RC10 RPM Ultramold
Just remembered I didn't measure that Super RS4 wheel yet so here it is:
HPI Super Star Wheel 57x35 (2.2in)
"Super RS4 - Super Nitro RS4"
part#3030
"White or Grey"
12mm hex
Width 34.9mm (outside)
Bead Dia 2.2" (56.6mm)
Backspacing 21mm
Weight 19g
added to my Wheel database

Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Re: RC10 RPM Ultramold
Thanks RogueIV! I appreciate the help. Using the newer HPI wheels is tempting. However, since everything else on this build is vintage, I want to stay true to that.
I think I will find some rear tires for the rear 2.0 chrome HPI wheels I have. Then I may switch back to those wheels.
