6 Gear idler

Post by juicedcoupe »

Anyone ever see this idler gear?

I picked up a 6 gear parts lot. One of the transmissions had one of these. Three screws instead of four and the nylon has a shiny finish.

Being delrin, that would make them harder and initially tougher than the nylon idlers, but also more brittle and likely to fracture under very high stress, right?
Old school racing all the way!
