B6/7 body on a B3?

Probably an odd question, but does anyone know if a B6 or B7 body will fit on to a B3 chassis? I don’t care about shock towers or mounts, just whether it will cover the chassis.

I really like the Leadfinger retro body for the B6 and B7, so I would like to put one on my old B3.

OMG, I was just about to scold you thinking about that, but you saved it by going the Leadfinger route. A Cab-forward body would have been blasphemous.

Now to answer your question, I believe it comes down to the width of chassis and body. If that fits, the rest can be made to fit.

Going with a big fat nope.

The B6's are 4.375in wide and the B3's are 5.625 wide. Further, the Leadfinger bodies match the stepped contour of the B6's chassis, which wouldn't come close to covering the straight taper of the B3's.
